On this episode, we are fortunate to spend some time with the three graduates from the Class of 2023 who will be addressing their senior class at graduation: Evan Miles, Emma Pedersen, and Peyton Yancey. We'll hear their thoughts on the end of their time at OSD, being a graduation speaker, and what's on the horizon. Congrats to the Class of 2023!

S1 E20 - Kindergarten Year in Review Ft. Mrs. Ingham and Students

Today we're visiting Ms. Ingham's kindergarten class at Prairie View Elementary to talk with some of our youngest students about their school year, what they learned, and get advice for next year's kindergarten students!

S1 E19 - Graduate Walks

A beloved tradition for OSD seniors is to take a walk through their former elementary schools. Today we’re going along to Brooklyn Elementary to hear about this memorable experience from one of our seniors. We'll also talk with Principal Pliner about end of year festivities and hear his advice for seniors and families during these last days of the school year.

S1 E18 - Goats in the OSD Ft. OMS Educators and Students

This past Sunday 20-30 goats were released in the forest area adjacent to Oregon Middle School as part of a forest restoration project! The goats are clearing invasive species and presenting an amazing learning opportunity for our students. Today we're talking with the project coordinators and some students to hear about how it's going. S1 E17 - Urban Challenge Ft. Kelly Manzeck

Each year, 7th grade students at Oregon Middle School participate in hands-on team learning experiences that take them outside the classroom. One of those experiences is called the Urban Challenge. Today we’re going to learn all about this experience from one of the Challenge organizers, Kelly Manzeck, and some students who recently completed the challenge.

It takes a keen eye and a robust skill set to build a home. In today's episode, Dr. Bergstrom heads to the construction site to hear from OHS construction teacher, Chris Prahl, to learn about the educational process for his students. We also hear from some of the students on the experience and where they hope to go from here.
