We are also joined by OSD Business Manager, Andy Weiland, who shares what OSD is doing be responsible environmental citizens.

Inclement weather has the potential to impact all school districts in Wisconsin. The decision to call a snow day is very complex. In this episode, Dr. Bergstrom talks with NBC 15 Meteorologist Brian Doogs, about predicting inclement weather and answers some of our most common questions from parents about snow days.

This week, Dr. Bergstrom visits with Oregon High School cast members of The Music Man, who are working hard in rehearsal to get ready for shows, which begin next week (2/17, 2/18, and 2/19).  Hear from the director and some senior cast members.  You don't want to miss this performance!

4K registration for the 2023-2024 school year starts March 6 and we know incoming 4K families may have questions about our program and community-based sites. This week we speak with OSD 4K Coordinator, Lindsay Engelhart, about our 4K program and hear from one of our own 4K students.

"It takes a village to raise a child!" We hear this phrase often and we can apply it to the many caring adults in our school community who provide many different functions, all in service of children. Today we are going to speak with the part of our village that welcomes many of our students each school day: our crossing guards, bus drivers, and school nutrition cooks who serve breakfast.

Dr. Leslie Bergstrom met up with some recent alumni who are in town and participated in Alumni Day at Oregon High School. In this podcast we hear a little bit about the annual Alumni Day event and speak with five recent graduates about where life has taken them after OHS, as well as their advice for current high school students.
